Search Console Data: The app fetches analytics (clicks, impressions, CTR, position), properties, and sitemaps directly from the Google Search Console API.
Authentication Tokens: OAuth access tokens are required to authorize API requests on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data accessed by SeoMetrics is used strictly for providing the app's core functionality to you:

To authenticate your identity using Google Sign-In.
To retrieve and display your website's search performance metrics and sitemaps on your personal dashboard.

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit your Google Search Console data, email address, or any other personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your security is our priority. We handle your data using industry-standard security practices:

Local Encryption: Your authentication tokens are securely encrypted and stored locally on your device using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences.
Direct API Communication: The app communicates directly with Google's servers over secure HTTPS connections. Your data never passes through any intermediary servers owned by us.

If you choose to sign out of the app, your authentication tokens are permanently and immediately deleted from your device's local storage.

4. Third-Party Services

SeoMetrics relies on Google Play Services and the Google Search Console API to function. By using this app, you are subject to Google's privacy policies regarding how they handle your data on their end. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
